Who we are
AGDEN-e is a volunteer humanitarian initiative focused on emergency nursing education for Afghan women. Our website address is https://agden-e.com. AGDEN-e is not a registered charity and does not solicit donations through this website.
What we collect
We collect personal information in one place only: the interest form on our Get Involved page. When you submit that form, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The type of interest you selected (for example, partner or volunteer)
- Any message you choose to write
We also record the time of submission, and temporarily record the IP address the submission came from purely to limit automated spam. Spam-prevention records are discarded within one hour and are not linked to your submission.
We do not run advertising, we do not sell or share your information with third parties, and we do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
Why we collect it
Only to reply to you and to keep a record of people who have offered support. Nothing else. If you do not contact us, we hold no personal information about you.
How it is stored
Submissions are stored privately in this website database, visible only to the site administrator, and a copy is sent by email to the administrator so that we can respond. The website is hosted by Hostinger, which processes data on our behalf as part of providing that hosting.
How long we keep it
We keep submissions for as long as the initiative is active and the correspondence remains relevant. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will do so.
Third-party services
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address when a page loads. Some pages link to external sources such as the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the World Bank; those organisations have their own privacy policies, and we have no control over them.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as PIPEDA in Canada or the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. We will honour any such request regardless of where you are.
